SJB'S Health & Safety Policy

At SJB, we appreciate that the issue of Health and Safety is crucial to any construction site. Accordingly, it is our priority when employing anyone that they are informed extensively about the importance of quality carpentry training in addition to a comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety training before carrying out any form of work.

Our leadership team, supervisors and foreman have the necessary training and qualifications to demonstrate that they are fully competent and prepared regarding any Health and Safety issues or breaches. Our internal Health and Safety team regularly works in conjunction with an external Health and Safety consultancy who assist us by assuring that we are always notified about any new issues. In consequence, we can remain informed about new legislation and maintain a fully supported and forward-thinking workforce whilst also remaining prepared for any future Health and Safety changes.

Importantly, all training of our workforce is carried out by specialist construction training companies who ensure the highest standard of training and allow SJB to consistently be kept up to date in regard to training regulations also. Health and Safety is fundamental to the functioning of SJB since it reduces the chance of injury and more essentially, protects the lives of employees and others, which is the priority for any construction company.
