While SJB pledges to adhere to your build specifications, we recognise the complexities of large projects and potential challenges. Hence, we have established an in-house customer care department.
Our skilled maintenance operatives, experienced in domestic environments and DBS-checked, ensure customer satisfaction.
If the initial visit involves an investigation, our maintenance department conducts a thorough inquiry and provides a detailed report. For minor concerns, our team resolves them immediately to ensure minimal inconvenience to the customer.

We conduct weekly site-specific reviews, audits, incident investigations, and regular inspections. Comprehensive training at all levels is managed through an inclusive matrix to address gaps. Our near miss reporting system involves the workforce in hazard identification, fostering a safety-conscious culture.
Our leadership team, supervisors, and foremen are fully trained and qualified. Furthermore, our H&S consultants from Citation assess all facets of our performance and create action plans to ensure safety on all construction sites.

SJB's bespoke digital quality management tool ensures effective oversight, communication, and compliance, but it’s our skilled team, led by our Quality Manager, that truly maximises its potential.
Our commitment to excellence permeates every aspect of our organisation, from our office to our contracts managers, and, naturally, our foreman and our operatives. We document and analyse carpentry issues and trade conflicts, taking appropriate actions and rewarding exceptional performance.

Quality Management
SJB values a skilled workforce for achieving our goals. We offer extensive training for all supervisory and leadership levels, supporting skill enhancement and ongoing learning.
Our comprehensive training covers carpentry, safety, and specialised courses like SMSTS and SSSTS. Routine reviews help us identify and nurture talent, promoting internal progression.
All carpenters are CSCS and Health & Safety qualified, experienced in 1st and 2nd Fix carpentry. While we take pride in our achievements, we remain vigilant and proactive in our commitment to training, understanding that continuous improvement is paramount to our success
